25 Years of Lois Pope LIFE Foundation
Congratulations and a big thank you to Lois Pope for her remarkable philanthropy in Palm Beach, Fla., and across the country. It is the 25th anniversary of the Lois Pope LIFE Foundation, Inc., which supports a range of incredibly worthy efforts including the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, a Summer Camp Program for underprivileged and special needs children in Florida, and the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial.
She is marking the Foundation anniversary by chairing the LIFE Lady in Red Gala tonight in Palm Beach. It is benefitting disabled veterans through the “Pups4Patriots” program within the Lois Pope LIFE Center for Military Affairs at American Humane. This unique program rescues dogs in need of forever homes and trains them to become lifesaving service dogs for veterans coping with post-traumatic stress and traumatic brain injury.
We are proud to be a partner with Lois in helping our nation’s military and building a more humane world. Her compassion and generosity in helping others is making a difference for so many people and animals in need.
